Red Bull Rail Riot is an open-format street contest for freeski and snowboard, taking place as a LAAX OPEN side event on Friday, January 16, 2026, in the valley at the rocksresort. Anyone aged 16+ can take part. The judges will decide who makes it from the qualifications to the finals and to the podium. Based on a “True Ranking” system, judges will evaluate the tricks shown by the riders in the jam sessions in the unlimited number of runs.
The highlight will be the finals at 5 pm, when the top 8 women and top 16 men in each discipline perform for the titles and the “Best Amateur Award”. The celebrations will then continue with the live concert of Dario Hess Band on the rocksresort stage.
