LAAXOPEN Champions forever

FOURTY-FOUR LAAX OPEN titles were awarded to thirty-two different freestyle pros from twelve countries and four continents in ten editions between 2016 and 2025.

Olympic halfpipe champion Chloe Kim, USA, leads the list of titles with five wins, followed by Scotty James, Australia, who stood on the top step of the podium four times in the superpipe, most recently in 2025.

Freestylers from the host country have also lifted the Valser granite trophy as LAAX OPEN champions: halfpipe rider Iouri Podladtchikov in 2018, Andri Ragettli in 2023 and Mathilde Gremaud in 2024, both in freeski slopestyle.

Riders from the USA won the most titles at the LAAX OPEN in snowboarding, namely a thirteen. From the legendary Jamie Anderson in 2016 via Julia Marino in 2024 to Chloe Kim in 2025.

As the youngest winner, Chloe Kim was already beaming from the top of the podium in 2017 at the age of 16. Ayumu Hirano is the youngest male champion with his victory in 2016 at the age of 17. Both are still on a winning streak in the LAAX superpipe!
