Norway’s Øyvind Kirkhus earned the highest score, winning his heat with the best trick of the day, a switch double rodeo 1260 nosegrab. Olympic champion Su Yiming (CHN) also topped his heat. Behind them, Romain Allemand (FRA), Valentino Guseli (AUS), Ryoma Kimata (JPN) and Kira Kimura (JPN) rounded out the leading group. From a Swiss point of view, Jonas Hasler secured a place in the final.
